Delhi Dynamos FC becomes Odisha FC after agreement

Department of Sports & Youth Services (DSYS), Government of Odisha and Delhi Soccer Private Limited (DSPL) signed a five-year agreement today to launch Indian Super League (ISL) club ‘Odisha FC’ in Bhubaneswar. DSYS Director R Vineel Krishna and DSPL CEO Ashish Shah signed the agreement here at Lok Seva Bhawan, the Secretariat of the State.

With the signing of the agreement, ISL club Delhi Dynamos Football Club (DDFC), owned by DSPL, assumed the new name as Odisha Football Club (Odisha FC). Henceforth, Kalinga Stadium, Bhubaneswar will be the home venue of DDFC, which was operating from Delhi since 2014, the year the ISL was launched.
